Qualification requirements

• Fluent Korean and English language capability required
• Minimum degree in Engineering / Business
• CIPM or equivalent qualified
• Lean / Six Sigma qualified
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent system skills – MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Project management experience is desirable
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Description

Deploys implements and manages the organization, systems, processes and procedures governing the supplier performance measurement strategy and standardization of direct materials / finished goods/ services to support manufacturing activities.

Scope of responsibilities

• Defines, measures, analyses, improves and controls low supplier’s performances in the businesses by engaging with all the main stakeholders and leading with lean six sigma and lean approach.
• Sustainable improvement of the supplier performances to meet the overall cost, quality and business objectives of the products, services within the company.
• Supports new product introductions and work transfers.
• Responsible for supplier quality, supplier performance and compliance.
• Strong customer, operation and supplier relationship management; quality management system; lean six sigma operational experience; project and program management; personnel and people development; main component and service category knowledge and supplier market knowledge desirable.
• Able to demonstrate familiarity and hand's-on experience with quality management and global sourcing management functional competencies.
• Demonstrate business acumen and agility in working within a matrix and cross-functional environment to proactively (and reactively) address supplier quality, service, delivery and other critical supply issues; ability to understand and work within diverse cultural landscape and all organizational levels to seek opportunities for improvement and leverage the entire enterprise/resources for problem resolution when and where required.
• Supports new product introduction by supporting cross-functional teams.
• Support the procurement initiative on transforming our supplier base (rationalization, re-sourcing,..) by supporting with supplier assessment and development in line with compliance, risk management, cost, quality, delivery and services targets.
• Acts with customers in mind; promotes customer focused business practices; takes time to establish personal contact with key internal customers at all levels of management and ensure organizational and business needs are being met; constantly looking for "voice of the customer" with respect to continuous improvement opportunities.
• Strong communication skills - verbal, non-verbal-, leadership, active listening, assertiveness, problem solving, decision making, stress management, perseverance, the ability to influence and lead in driving changes in the organization, conflict management strong negotiation skills, building effective teams, customer focus, and continuous improvement focus; empowerment mindset with team members.
