Qualification requirements

• Work experience in commercial aerospace for an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and have 3 or more years of experience in spare parts pricing and/or service program development
• Knowledge of the spare parts business of OEMs
• Good communication skills with airline customers and suppliers
• Knowledge of market prices of spare parts
• Work experience of spare parts offerings to customers
• Work experience of supplier negotiations for spare parts
• Knowledge of technical requirements of customers for spare parts service programs
• Work experience of component repair management
• Work experience running a spare parts service program
• Work experience of configuration management of spare parts inventory
• Knowledge of asset management accounting and taxation
• Team management skills

Scope of responsibilities

The manager of spare parts pricing and program development is responsible to lead pricing of spare parts and the related service program development (e.g., pooling program for rotatable parts) to simultaneously achieve market competitive offerings and reasonable profitability for the Company. These include the following;
• Define mark-up policy for each spare parts category
• Develop processes for periodic pricing in line with business requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers for pricing
• Develop repair management functions and processes
• Develop business plans and processes for the spare parts service program
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers to develop the spare parts service program
• Develop plans for human resources and needed infrastructure/tools for operating the spare parts service program
