Qualification requirements

• Work experience in commercial aerospace for an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and have 3 or more years of experience in spare parts AOG desk operations
• Knowledge of spare parts business of OEMs
• Knowledge of logistics, including export controls and transportation of dangerous goods
• Knowledge of technical publications (AMM, AIPC, CMM, etc.)
• Knowledge of spare parts engineering (interchangeability, etc.)
• Good communication skills with airline customers and suppliers

Preferable Requirements:
• Team management skills
• Japanese language skills to communicate with initial customers in Japan
• Working experience establishing SOP
• Working experience establishing teams

Scope of responsibilities

The manager of the spare parts aircraft-on-ground (AOG) desk is responsible to lead development operational procedures and preparations of infrastructure for AOG desk operations to achieve the best-in-class spare parts AOG support (24/7), which includes the following:
• Development of SOP for AOG desk operations
• Coordination with relevant groups within the Company and suppliers to establish the AOG supply chain
• Hiring and development plan for AOG coordinators
• Identify the infrastructure needed for the AOG desk
• Develop tools needed for AOG desk operations
