Interior Project Manager - AS

Work location

The primary work locations will be in Nagoya, Japan.
However, engineers maybe requested to travel to support business needs, as requested.

Reports to

Functional: Interior Program Manager
IPT: Interior Office Group Leader

Qualification requirements

• 10+ years of Aerospace Project experience, with aircraft Interiors knowledge preferred
• Fluent in English, with Japanese language skills desirable
• Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project)
• Attention to Detail and Organized. Ability to interact respectfully with others

Description

Designated as the interior project manager within the interior office, engineering division; the interior project manager is responsible for ensuring program schedules, and that metrics and progress are maintained to ensure on-time TC and EIS of the regional jet product, and to support activities of cabin safety interior systems. Other duties will involve presentation of progress reports, communication with senior management, engineering integration, and problem resolution between engineering/IPT groups.

Scope of responsibilities

• Establish and track KPIs that highlight bottlenecks
• Identify performance concerns against a plan
• Maintain Risks & Opportunity register on Sharepoint
• Resource plan monitoring loading
• Provide support to PM /GL tasks as necessary
• Support Microsoft Project Updates and weekly reports
• Preparation of material and facilities for Engineering Meetings
• Governance reporting work for PMO/EMO, Daily/ Weekly/monthly
• Chase Stakeholders and hold accountable for information’s provided
• Keep JCAB test schedule Topical for CMO before submission
• Prep IPT PM reviews
• Support Budget Planning and tracking
