Responsibilities: 
Includes the following for designing ATA26-10 and ATA36-20; possess the necessary technical background and competence in system design as defined below:
• Prepare and review drawings, design specifications, and mechanical-electrical interface control documents
• Be involved in validation and verification activities, including requirement definition, verification planning, and review of verification evidence
• Conduct interface meetings with FPS component suppliers
• Support qualification activities of FPS components
• Prepare and review FPS test specifications, plans, procedures, and reports internally and for type-certification testing
• Coordinate with internal members, suppliers, and authorities for executing type-certification testing
• Prepare analysis documentation, test compliance plans, and perform the testing
• Interface with the flight test team in Nagoya and the flight test center to follow FPS system tests being conducted; responsibilities include participating with the FPS team to prepare and/or review responses to flight test problem reports; review of test data, ground and flight test plans, and test reports
• Perform or assist with inspections and on-aircraft troubleshooting
• Assist identifying problems, adjusting and repairing systems during the troubleshooting process according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures
• Lead in resolution of design challenges and any issues related to aircraft certification
• Interface with the identified FPS ATA and involved design specialists, FPS system suppliers and subcontractors, and particularly the aircraft interior group
• Be fully involved supporting the design change process and MCCB activity
• Perform other related tasks as assigned
• Be prepared to work as a team member in a multi-cultural, international working environment at the headquarters based in Japan
• Be able to utilize interpersonal and communication techniques, working in a team environment as well as identifying potential issues; ability to plan and implement short- and long-term goals in aircraft development

Includes the following for supporting overall FPS work, including ATA26-10, ATA26-20 and ATA36-20:
• Control the release of drawings while communicating with outsourcing companies
• Control the release of documents and internal documentation for purchasing
• Meet schedules by resolving problems and mitigating risks; coordinate interactions with other stakeholders: PMO (Program Management Office), SCM (Supply Chain Management), and other engineering teams

All tasks required to perform above activities are considered within the work scope; initiating and reviewing related documents, discussions both within our team and with partners; over five years experience in the designated design areas
