Flight Operations Engineer - AS429



Work location: Komaki, Aichi, Japan
Job description: 
Lead establishment of flight operation support processes in the development phase; manage service requests related to flight operations phase
• Responsibility for identifying issues, developing mitigation plans and implementation with engineering teams to accomplish flight operations support
• Develop plan for performance software and applications (ex: iPad application for electronic flight bags)
• Define requirements for software functions and user interface from customer perspectives; implementation with engineering team and IT system outsourcing

Responsibilities: 
• Development and delivery of flight operations manual and flight operations engineering support
• Development of customer support process
• Flight operations engineering support of regional jet customers including training courses regarding airplane performance
• Benchmarking the above deliverables and services
• Establishing deliverable commitments and priorities, creating and managing development processes, and implementing communication processes

Qualification requirements: 
• Engineering degree from accredited engineering school
• Experience in commercial aerospace with an original equipment manufacturer
• 5+ years experience providing flight operations support to commercial airline customers
• Knowledge of customer support functions of an OEM
• Training courses of airplane performance for customers
• Flight operations manuals including: aircraft flight manual, flight crew operations manual / quick reference handbook, flight crew training manual, weight and balance manual, master minimum equipment list and dispatch deviation guide
• Airplane performance software, including EFB applications
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
