Job description: 
Member of the sales and marketing team, expected to provide world-class solutions for our teams, customers, and prospects in support of marketing the regional jet family of aircraft against competitors; must understand industry and customer needs in order to support all objectives of the marketing team

Responsibilities: 
Head office of an aircraft corporation located in Nagoya, Japan is currently seeking to fill the role of Airline Marketing Analyst. As part of the sales and marketing team, the ideal candidate should be able to work independently while taking on full responsibility for marketing activities with assigned accounts.

Duties include:
• Conducting standard route performance analysis, economic analysis, traffic analysis, fleet planning, financial analysis, and competitor evaluations using established processes
• Identifying market opportunities and preparing business cases demonstrating the value of the regional jet family of aircraft
• Developing models that accurately reflect the airline business environment, allowing for multiple scenarios to be evaluated
• Developing and executing marketing strategies for assigned accounts to support sales of the regional jet family of aircraft
• Providing insightful analysis by creating and delivering presentations to potential airline customers, external industry stakeholders, and internal senior management
• Assuming responsibility for selected accounts and managing relationships with airline contacts
• Managing multiple deliverables, deadlines, and priorities subject to weekly review with management
• Traveling to customers, usually with a team representing the aircraft corporation, or independently where relationships have been established

For these responsibilities to be effectively achieved, the ideal candidate would have demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking capabilities and possess problem solving, creative, analytical, and research skills. The ideal candidate should also possess the skills to create engaging presentation materials while able to express ideas and present data in a concise manner.

Travel required: Up to five days a week
Qualification requirements: 
• University degree with preference given to a master's level
• 2-4 years related aviation experience in any combination of the following areas: airline industry, aircraft operations, aircraft performance engineering, fleet planning, marketing and/or financial analysis
• English language required; multi-lingual desired
• Willing to travel
• Presentable, excellent customer interaction skills
• Demonstrable analytical and computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
