Control System Engineer - AS416

Work location: Komaki, Aichi, Japan
Job description: 
• Prepare and review wiring diagrams, electrical interface documents, perform tests, and troubleshooting in RIG / aircraft
• Support electrical qualification discussions for FPS components
• Possess necessary technical background and competence in system design as defined in this scope
• As required, conduct interface meetings with FPS component suppliers
• Prepare FPS design requirement documents, test specifications of type certification tests, test plans, and test procedures
• Coordinate with internal members, suppliers, and authorities executing type-certification tests
• Prepare analyses documents, test compliance plans of analyses, and execute tests

Interface with the flight test teams in Japan and the U.S.A. to follow FPS system tests conducted; responsibilities include participating with FPS teams to prepare and/or review responses to flight test problem reports, review test data, ground and flight test plans, and test reports
• Responsible for real-time telemetry monitoring during ground and flight tests, data analysis, and documentation
• Perform or assist with inspections and on-aircraft troubleshooting
• Assist identifying problems, adjusting and repairing systems during troubleshooting processes according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and established procedures• Lead resolution of design challenges and issues related to aircraft certification
• Act as interface for identified FPS ATA with involved design specialists, FPS system suppliers and subcontractors, and in particular with the interior group
• Be fully involved supporting the design change process and MCCB activity
• Be prepared to work as a team member in a multi-cultural and international working environment at the headquarters based in Japan
• Must be able to utilize interpersonal and communication techniques working in a team environment, as well as identifying potential issues with the ability to plan and implement short- and long-term goals in aircraft development
• Meet schedules by resolving problems and mitigating risks; coordinate interaction with other stakeholders, PMO, SCM, and other engineering teams

Qualification requirements: 
• Minimum 5 years broad engineering experience in other aircraft technical disciplines
• Preferable to have graduated from a university with a mechanical/aerospace engineering degree (or equivalent) with strengths in fluid/thermal transmission (not mandatory)
• 5+ years experience in the designated design area
