Interior Stress Engineer - AS409

Job description: 
Designated Stress Engineer, Interiors Office. The engineer will work as a Stress Engineer within the Interiors Stress Team within the Interiors Group with a primary focus on Interior Support Structure. This will include interfacing with all other aircraft functions and engineering teams to coordinate and obtain the approval of any task assigned contributing to the aircraft and Interiors development and Certification;

This activity includes, but is not limited to;

• Evaluating the current aircraft design, with respect to compliance to the support structure/system stress related airworthiness regulations of JCAB, FAA and EASA, and other applicable requirements,
• Conducting Stress analysis and sizing of support structure brackets,
• Conducting drawing review from view point of structural integrity,
• Has the authority to conducting Stress analysis and drawing approval (sign-offs) on behalf of Stress Team Lead based on concurrence of items
• Creating and/or reviewing stress analysis reports,
• Creating and/or reviewing structural test plan/reports, if needed,
• Creating and/or reviewing stress related evaluation reports,
• Creating and/or reviewing compliance reports for certification authorities,
• Conducting coordination with related parties such as company structure stress team, our company design team, etc. with respect to stress related activities (Stress analysis, Stress report documentation, and structural test, etc.),
• Managing the schedule of stress related activities with respect to design deliverables
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
